Het Nederlands Instituut in Damascus (NI-Damascus) is een Nederlandse stichting die zich ten doel stelt de academische relaties tussen Syrië en Nederland te bevorderen en te onderhouden. In samenhang daarmee stelt het instituut zich tevens ten doel de relaties tussen beide landen op de gebieden cultuur en internationale samenwerking te bevorderen en te onderhouden.

NI-Damascus Nieuws:  

1. Zomercursussen 2012

NI-Damascus bood tot nu toe jaarlijks zomercurssen aan op het Nederlands Instituut in Damascus. Dit jaar zullen er echter een tweetal zomercursussen worden aangeboden in Libanon en een zomercursus in Jordanië. De deadline voor inschrijving voor deze zomercursussen is 31 maart 2012.

Zomercursus Libanees Arabisch 2012 (max 25 deelnemers)

Het informatiedocument en het inschrijfformulier voor de zomercursus Libanees Arabisch, die in Beiroet zal plaatsvinden van 9-27 juli 2012, zijn nu beschikbaar via http://ni-beirut.org/services.  

Zomercursus Christelijke en Islamitische Kunst en Architectuur 2012 (max 20 deelnemers)

Het informatiedocument en het inschrijfformulier voor de zomercursus Christelijke en Islamitische Kunst en Architectuur, die in Libanon zal plaatsvinden van 2-13 juli 2012, zijn nu beschikbaar via http://ni-beirut.org/services.

Zomercursus Interculturele Communicatie 2012 (max 15 deelnemers)

Op http://ni-amman.org/services is informatie beschikbaar over de zomercursus Interculturele Communicatie die in Amman zal plaatsvinden van 15-26 juli 2012. Het informatiedocucment en het inschrijfformulier voor die cursus zullen daar zo spoedig mogelijk worden gepubliceerd, maar preregistratie is nu al mogelijk via director@ni-amman.org.

2. Naamswijziging NIASD naar NI-Damascus

Sinds kort is de naam van het Nederlands Instituut voor Academische Studies in Damascus gewijzigd in Nederlands Instituut in Damascus (NI-Damascus). Deze naamswijziging is het resultaat van de oprichting van het Nederlands Instituut in Beirut en het Nederlands Instituut in Amman en onze wens de namen te uniformeren. De drie instituten werken op dit moment aan een nieuwe website.

The Netherlands Institute in Damascus (NI-Damascus) is a Dutch foundation which aims to advance and maintain the academic relations between Syria and The Netherlands. In relation to that the institute also aims to advance and maintain the relations between both countries in the fields of culture and international co-operation.

NIASD News

1.MENA Scholarship 2012

You are invited to apply for a MENA Scholarship 2012. Please note that other than in the past few years applicants working for governmental organizations, public universities and semi-public organizations are not eligible. Click here for the MENA brochure including the course list and here for the application form. Deadline is 1 March 2012 and 1 July 2012 depending on the deadline mentioned behind each course. In 2012 there are around 120 scholarships available, which are proportionally distributed among the participating countries. Ideally, half of the scholarships are allocated to female applicants.  

2. Summer Courses 2012

NI-Damascus thus far offered annual summer courses at the institute in Damascus. In 2012, however, two summer courses will be delivered in Lebanon instead and one in Jordan. The information documents and application forms for the summer course Lebanese Arabic (9-27 July 2012) and the summer course Christian and Islamic Art and Architecture (2-13 July 2012) are now available via http://ni-beirut.org/services. The information document and application form for the summer course Intercultural Communication (15-26 July 2012) will be upcoming shortly via http://ni-amman.org/services. On the latter website you can already read some information about that course.

3. Name change NIASD into NI-Damascus

Recently, the name of the Netherlands Institute for Academic Studies in Damascus has been changed into Netherlands Institute in Damascus (NI-Damascus). This name change is the result of the establishment of the Netherlands Institute in Beirut and the Netherlands Institute in Amman and our wish to uniform our names. The three institutes are currently working on a new website.

ندعوكم للتقدم لبرنامج MENA Scholarship 2012 للمنح الدراسية لدورات قصيرة والمخصصة لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا لعام 2012. يرجى ملاحظة أنه، وعلى غير ما كانت عليه الشروط في السنوات القليلة الماضية، فإن المتقدمين العاملين في مؤسسات أو جامعات حكومية أو شبه حكومية ليسوا مؤهلين ليتم اختيارهم. يرجى النقر هنا للاطلاع على البروشور الخاص والذي يتضمن قائمة بالدورات المتوفرة، وانقر هنا لاستمارة التقدم.  وهنالك موعدان نهائيان للتقدم على حسب الدورة وهما 1 آذار 2012 و 1 تموز 2012. ويقدم البرنامج حوالي 120 دورة في عام 2012، وهي موزعة تناسبياً على الدول المشاركة. يتم تخصيص نصف هذه المنح للمتقدمات الإناث.

2. تغيير اسم المعهد الهولندي للدراسات الأكاديمية في دمشق (NIASD) ليصبح المعهد الهولندي في دمشق (NI-Damascus):

تم مؤخراً تغيير اسم معهدنا من (المعهد الهولندي للدراسات الأكاديمية في دمشق NIASD) ليصبح (المعهد الهولندي في دمشق NI-Damascus). ويأتي هذا التغيير في اسم المعهد نتيجة لتأسيس كل من المعهد الهولندي في بيروت والمعهد الهولندي في عمان وليعكس رغبتنا في توحيد أسماء معاهدنا الثلاث. وتعمل المعاهد الثلاثة حالياً على إنشاء موقع إلكتروني جديد.
